Letter Storm is a free Pashto typing game where Pashto letters fall from the top of the screen. Type each letter on the Pashto keyboard before it hits the ground, survive as long as you can, and build muscle memory for the full alphabet.

What this game is
This is the fastest way to learn where Pashto letters live on the keyboard. You are not copying words yet — you are hunting single characters under time pressure, the same skill that later makes words and sentences feel automatic. Letter Storm runs in the browser with PashtoType’s on-screen Pashto keyboard, so you do not need to install a Pashto layout on your computer.
How to play Letter Storm
- Choose Easy, Normal, or Hard, then start the run.
- Pashto letters spawn and fall toward the ground.
- Type the matching key for the oldest letter on screen to clear it.
- A letter that reaches the bottom costs a life.
- Survive until lives run out or the three-minute run cap.
Rules
- You start with 10 lives on every difficulty.
- Clearing the correct letter scores points and can build a streak.
- A wrong key or a missed letter costs a life.
- Runs end when lives hit zero, or after three minutes of survival.
Scoring
Score rises with each letter you clear. Faster, denser difficulties spawn more letters and reward clean streaks. Your WPM and accuracy for the run are saved when you are signed in.
Difficulty
Easy
Letters fall slowly, spawn every 1.4 seconds, and only a few are on screen at once — best for learning the Pashto alphabet.
Normal
A 4-second fall and a letter every second. The default practice pace for key location.
Hard
Letters fall in about 2.8 seconds with up to seven on screen. Use this when the alphabet already feels familiar.
