Cookie Policy

PashtoType does not set tracking cookies, and we don't run third-party analytics or advertising scripts. This page explains what we actually store in your browser instead, since it's not nothing — just not cookies.

What we store: local storage

We use your browser's local storage (a different mechanism from cookies — it's never sent to our servers automatically) to keep the app working:

• Your sign-in session, so you stay logged in between visits.
• Lesson progress, typing test scores, and typing game scores, so guest users don't lose progress on refresh, and so signed-in users get a fast local cache alongside their saved server-side data.

This data stays on your device unless you sign in (at which point relevant progress is synced to your account) — see our Privacy Policy for how account data is handled.

Third-party cookies

We don't currently embed any third-party service (analytics, ads, or otherwise) that sets its own cookies. If that changes, we'll update this page and, if required, add a consent mechanism before any such tool goes live.

Managing local storage

You can clear local storage for PashtoType at any time from your browser's site settings. Doing so will sign you out and clear any locally cached progress that hasn't been synced to your account.
