Earn a Pashto typing certificate online
Most typing certificates are issued for English QWERTY. PashtoType issues a Pashto typing certificate for people who learn the standard Afghanistan Pashto keyboard layout in the browser — no install, no paid exam.
The certificate is awarded when you finish every lesson in the curriculum while signed in. It records your name, the number of lessons completed, your best WPM, and your best accuracy, then gives you a unique public link so others can verify it.
Step 1
Create a free account
Sign in so lesson progress is saved to your profile. Guest practice stays in the browser and cannot issue a certificate.
Step 2
Complete all 36 lessons
Work through the curriculum from foundation letters to Pashto-specific characters, numbers, symbols, words, and sentences.
Step 3
Claim and share
Generate your certificate on this page. Download a PNG, copy the public link, or share it so anyone can verify the result.

How verification works
PashtoType does not publish a public directory of every certificate. Verification is by unique link: when you claim yours, you get a URL such as /certificates/[id]. Anyone with that link can open the certificate page and see the name, issue date, lesson count, and recorded WPM and accuracy.
You can copy the link, share it on Facebook, or download a PNG for print. The public page is the source of truth if a file copy is questioned.
Certificate FAQ
Is the Pashto typing certificate free?
Yes. The certificate, the lesson curriculum, and the rest of PashtoType are free. There is no paid certificate tier.
Do I need to install a Pashto keyboard to earn it?
No. PashtoType maps your physical QWERTY keys to the standard Afghanistan Pashto keyboard layout in the browser and shows an on-screen keyboard as a guide.
What do I have to complete to earn the certificate?
Finish every lesson in the PashtoType curriculum (36 lessons) while signed in. Completing games or the typing test is optional and is not required for the certificate.
Can someone else verify my certificate?
Yes. Each certificate has a unique public link. Anyone with that link can view the name, issue date, lessons completed, and the WPM and accuracy recorded at issue time. There is no public directory of all certificates.
Does the certificate update if I type faster later?
No. Stats are a snapshot from the moment the certificate is issued. Later lesson scores do not rewrite an already-issued certificate.
