Terms of Service

By using PashtoType (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The Service

PashtoType is a free, browser-based platform for learning and practicing Pashto typing: an on-screen keyboard, guided lessons, practice drills, a typing speed test, typing games, a public leaderboard, and completion certificates. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to submit typing test results, lesson progress, or game scores.
• Attempt to manipulate the leaderboard or certificate eligibility.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to access it by means other than the interface and instructions we provide.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Leaderboard and certificate integrity

Leaderboard rankings and certificates are meant to reflect genuine typing practice. We reserve the right to reset, hide, or revoke scores or certificates we reasonably believe were obtained through cheating, automation, or abuse of the Service, without notice.

Intellectual property

The PashtoType name, logo, lesson content, and site design belong to us or our licensors. Using the Service doesn't give you ownership of any of it. You keep ownership of nothing we generate on your behalf (e.g. a certificate) beyond the right to use and share it as intended.

No warranty, limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data (including saved progress) will never be lost. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
