Home-row Drills is a free Pashto typing trainer locked to one finger group at a time. Hit a clear quota before the clock runs out, stay above the accuracy floor, and unlock the next home-row set.

What this game is
Most Pashto typing mistakes start on the home row. This game does not mix the whole keyboard. You drill index anchors (ب ل ا ت), the full home row, home plus pinky (ګ), then nearby bottom and top keys. Each group must be passed before the next unlocks, so you build a real foundation instead of skipping ahead.
How to play Home-row Drills
- Start on the first unlocked group: home-row index anchors.
- Type the prompted Pashto characters until you hit the clear quota.
- Stay above the minimum accuracy for that difficulty.
- Pass the round to unlock the next finger group.
- Repeat through full home row, pinky, bottom-near, and top-near keys.
Rules
- Groups unlock in order. You cannot skip to later fingers until you pass.
- Easy: 45s, 20 clears, 80% accuracy. Normal: 35s, 30 clears, 90%. Hard: 25s, 40 clears, 95%.
- Failing the quota or accuracy floor does not unlock the next group.
- Characters are drawn only from the active group.
Scoring
Score is clears × 10 × accuracy × difficulty, with a 1.25× bonus if you pass the round and a 0.5× penalty if you do not. Passing is the real progress.
Difficulty
Easy
45 seconds, 20 clears, 80% accuracy — learn the home-row shapes.
Normal
35 seconds, 30 clears, 90% accuracy. The standard home-row exam.
Hard
25 seconds, 40 clears, 95% accuracy. No time to look down.

The full home row uses the unshifted keys ش س ی ب ل ا ت ن م ک. The first drill is the index anchors ب ل ا ت. Later groups add ګ and nearby bottom and top keys.
Do I have to unlock groups in order?
Yes. Home-row Drills is a ladder. Passing a timed quota at the required accuracy unlocks the next finger group.
Is this useful if I already type Pashto?
Yes. Even experienced typists leak accuracy on home-row anchors. Hard mode is a short, strict checkup.
